Scríbhneoir, staraí agus ársaitheoir Éireannach ba ea Cathal Ó Conchúir (Cathal Ua Conchubhair) (1d Eanáir 1710 – 1d Iúil 1791), as Béal Átha na gCarr.[1][2] He was enormously influential as a protagonist for the preservation of Irish culture and history san 18ú haois.
