Dál Fiachrach Suighe
Déan Gaelach i luathstair na hÉireann ba ea Dál Fiachra Shuí (Sean-Ghaeilge Dál Fiachrach Suighe nó Suidhe), a mhaígh gurbh é a sinsear Fiachra Suí, mac is óige le Feilimí Reachtmhar. Conn Céadchathach, an tArdrí seanscéalach, ba ea a dheartháir is sine. Sinsear Dhéise Mumhan agus Dhéise Tuaiscirt (aitheanta níos deireanaí as a príomhchlann, Dál gCais) is ea an Dál.
Sé ghlúin tar éis Fhiachra, cuireadh an ruaig ar ceathrar mac Airt Choirb as Teamhraigh, scéal atá inste Tairired na nDéssi.[1] Lonnaigh buíon amháin faoi cheannas Eochada Allmhuire in Dyfed c. 270,[2][3] agus buíon eile i ndeireadh na dála sa Mhumhain i measc Dhéise Deiscirt. Moltar go bhfuil naisc idir na heachtraí seo agus ruathair foghlaithe Gaelacha ar chósta thiar na Breataine Rómhánaí sna 4ú agus 5ú haoiseanna, chomh maith le bunú ríochtaí Gaelacha in Dyfed, Brecon agus Corn na Breataine timpeall na bliana 400.
