I have to agree. The content in this article is well beyond WP guidelines. Politician bio articles should be about the politicians - not a run down on their policies. Wikipedia is not a soapbox for political views. The original author may want to trim/summarise the "policies" section (and any other SPAM style content) before a more dramatic cull is performed on this article.
