English: Small sheet of Irish 'e'en:watermark paper showing the watermark used for Irish stamps between about en:1940 and en:1974
The change from the 'se' watermark to the 'e' watermark paper came about due to the change in the official change in the country's name from Saorstat Éireann (Irish Free State) to en:Éire (Ireland).
Scan made by me from publicly available paper and put into the public domain especially for Irish stamp collectors
Image released into the public domain (by the author) but the stamp paper was produced by the Irish Post Office, so is governed by the Irish government 50-year copyright rule.
