Plé:Aeráid na hÉireann
Hello, sorry for not using Irish Gaelic here. I just finished a climate map for Ireland in the English wikipedia:
I'd like to make a Gaelic version of it. If anyone here would like to help translate the text I use in the map, I could easily add them and upload a Gaelic version. Redtitan (talk) 09:38, 20 Iúil 2016 (UTC)
- Go raibh maith agat! We'll do this, hopefully very soon! SeoMac (talk) 23:13, 20 Iúil 2016 (UTC)
Köppen climate types of Ireland [I prefer the first]
- Cineálacha aeráide na hÉireann de réir Köppen
- Cineálacha aeráide Köppen na hÉireann
Cfc (Subpolar oceanic)
- Cfc (Aigéanach fhopholach)
Cfb (Oceanic)
- Cfb (Aigéanach)
Isotherm used to separate temperate continental (D) climates is -3°C.
- -3°C an isiteirm a úsáideadh le haeráidí ilchríocha mheasartha a scaradh.
Data source: Climate types calculated from WorldClim.org. ["with material/figures from WorldClim.org" —— You choose.]

I tried to be clear and correct. If anything is too long to work with, I'll try to shorten it. Má thugann duine earráid nó rud ciotach, abair suas. SeoMac (talk) 03:23, 27 Iúil 2016 (UTC)
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. I had to break the title into two lines. I hope it isn't awkward - if it is, let me know and I can break the line elsewhere. Redtitan (talk) 05:02, 27 Iúil 2016 (UTC)
- You need "Climate map of Ireland". That would be "Léarscáil aeráide na hÉireann".
- Also, if you want to use the second choice above (Cineálacha aeráide Köppen na hÉireann) as the map heading, go ahead. It's shorter. I think I obsessed too much over what exactly "Koeppen" modifies, and the second one may actually be better. SeoMac (talk) 07:09, 27 Iúil 2016 (UTC)
