Glaoch na hÉireann

Ón Vicipéid, an chiclipéid shaor.

Is amhrán é Glaoch na hÉireann (Ireland's Call sa Bhéarla) a úsáidtear mar aAmhrán náisiúnta ag roinnt iomaitheoirí spóirt in Éirinn, ar dtús agus go háirithe Cumann Rugbaí na hÉireann (CRÉ). Ba é an CRÉ a choimisiúnaigh é do Chorn an Domhain 1995, toisc gur aontachtaithe Uladh as Tuaisceart Éireann iad líon beag de bhaill an CRÉ a thabharfadh aird ar úsáid Amhrán na bhFiann mar rud míchuí.[1]

Glaoch na hÉireann

Chugainn an lá is chugainn an dúshlán,
Ré na cumhachta is na glóire,
‘Sé glaoch na tíre a fhreagróimís,
Ó cheithre chúige na hÉireann.
Curfá;
Éire,Éire,
Is treise sinn mar shlua,
Gualainn le gualainn,
Éireoidh linn gan dua.”

Ireland's Call

Come the day and come the hour,
Come the power and the glory!
We have come to answer our country's call,
From the four proud provinces of Ireland
Ireland, Ireland,
Together standing tall!
Shoulder to shoulder,
We'll answer Ireland's call!
From the mighty Glens of Antrim,
From the rugged hills of Galway!
From the walls of Limerick, and Dublin Bay,
From the four proud provinces of Ireland!“Glaoch na hÉireann

Ireland, Ireland,
Together standing tall!
Shoulder to shoulder,
We'll answer Ireland's call!
Hearts of steel and heads unbowing,
Vowing never to be broken!
We will fight, until we can fight no more,
From the four proud provinces of Ireland!
Ireland, Ireland,
Together standing tall!
Shoulder to shoulder,
We'll answer Ireland's call!
Ireland, Ireland,
Together standing tall!
Shoulder to shoulder,
We'll answer Ireland's call!
We'll answer Ireland's call!
