Glaoch na hÉireann
Cuma
Is amhrán é Glaoch na hÉireann (Ireland's Call sa Bhéarla) a úsáidtear mar aAmhrán náisiúnta ag roinnt iomaitheoirí spóirt in Éirinn, ar dtús agus go háirithe Cumann Rugbaí na hÉireann (CRÉ). Ba é an CRÉ a choimisiúnaigh é do Chorn an Domhain 1995, toisc gur aontachtaithe Uladh as Tuaisceart Éireann iad líon beag de bhaill an CRÉ a thabharfadh aird ar úsáid Amhrán na bhFiann mar rud míchuí.[1]
Glaoch na hÉireann
- Chugainn an lá is chugainn an dúshlán,
- Ré na cumhachta is na glóire,
- ‘Sé glaoch na tíre a fhreagróimís,
- Ó cheithre chúige na hÉireann.
- Curfá;
- Éire,Éire,
- Is treise sinn mar shlua,
- Gualainn le gualainn,
- Éireoidh linn gan dua.”

- Come the day and come the hour,
- Come the power and the glory!
- We have come to answer our country's call,
- From the four proud provinces of Ireland
- Ireland, Ireland,
- Together standing tall!
- Shoulder to shoulder,
- We'll answer Ireland's call!
- From the mighty Glens of Antrim,
- From the rugged hills of Galway!
- From the walls of Limerick, and Dublin Bay,
- From the four proud provinces of Ireland!“Glaoch na hÉireann
- Ireland, Ireland,
- Together standing tall!
- Shoulder to shoulder,
- We'll answer Ireland's call!
- Hearts of steel and heads unbowing,
- Vowing never to be broken!
- We will fight, until we can fight no more,
- From the four proud provinces of Ireland!
- Ireland, Ireland,
- Together standing tall!
- Shoulder to shoulder,
- We'll answer Ireland's call!
- Ireland, Ireland,
- Together standing tall!
- Shoulder to shoulder,
- We'll answer Ireland's call!
- We'll answer Ireland's call!
