Why is it an "oppositional organisation"(eagraíocht freasúra)? Panu Petteri Höglund 23:37, 16 Meán Fómhair 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Probably something of a "loaded" term alright - that may be my fault. I was looking for a term that reflected it's origins as a group set up specifically to "oppose" the "Defenders". I also thought it might be appropriate given the exclusionary aspects of its modern mores, and it's relatively singular purpose in pursuit/support of the "principles of the Reformation". I had considered "eagraíocht deartháiriúil", but thought that "fraternal" (depending on how the reader interprets it) suggested a spirit of openness in membership that may be somewhat inaccurate. We don't have to use an adjective though; describing it as an "organisation" (without prefix) is fine by me.... Guliolopez 00:11, 17 Meán Fómhair 2007 (UTC)[reply]
