Deutsch: Das Blatt zeigt den vom Universitätsarchitekten Otto Praël (1793–1862) entworfenen, 1835 zum Universitätsjubiläum begonnenen und 1837 fertiggestellten Neubau der Universitätsaula Göttingen von der südöstlichen Ecke der Burgstraße über den „Neuen Markt“ gesehen.
English: The sheet shows the University designed by architect Otto Prael (1793-1862), in 1835 the University Jubilee commenced and in 1837 completed construction of the Hall of the University of Göttingen, looking from the southeast corner of the castle on the road toward the "New Market".
