English: Brighton: Grand Hotel The Grand Hotel was built between 1862 and 1864 and at the time of its opening was the largest hotel in the town and its tallest building. After the 1984 IRA bombing incident the hotel was completely refurbished and re-opened in 1986. Now known as the De Vere Grand after its owners its website is here http://www.grandbrighton.co.uk/index.htm The road in front is Kings Road.
