These houses were built in 1786, no's. 37-40 (inclusive) were completed as a block, and all are attributed to Samuel Sproule as per [/photos/gnmcauley/ Niall McAuley] .

[/photos/129555378@N07/ sharon.corbet] Tells us that there is a German connection to the house on the left, No 37 it was used by the Deutsches Kulturinstitut in 1965 and still today it is owned and is currently undergoing a major refurbishment by the Goethe-Institut.

She again Identifies the Location as Merrion Square West in Dublin.
